Sri Sai Kirana General Store

This is Sri Sai Kirana General Store located over here in the Bk Guda Sr Nagar area. It is a simple spot where we sell groceries and the usual household items. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter or moving sacks of grain around. We have everything from different types of flour to cleaning liquids and tea powder. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there is always someone coming in for a last-minute item. The fans hum all day to keep the place cool, but it still gets quite warm in the afternoons. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us helping out and making sure the bills are right. People come in to buy their monthly rations or sometimes just a single egg or a matchbox. I try to keep the items where people can see them easily. The street outside can get noisy with all the traffic and people walking by. We’ve seen many families grow up around here over the years. We keep the store open through the week because people always need something or the other. It’s not a very big shop, but we pack it with as much stuff as possible. Sometimes we run out of certain brands, but usually, there is an alternative on the shelf. It’s just a plain, local business run by local people who know the area well. We don't use computers much, just writing things down in a book.
