Sri Sai Ganesh Kirana & General Stores

Our shop is Sri Sai Ganesh Kirana & General Stores, located at 12-11-629/197 in L Narayan Nagar. This is in the Parsigutta area of Hyderabad. It’s a residential neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of houses. We started this store to serve the people living right here. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local kirana shop. We have sacks of flour and sugar on the floor. The shelves are filled with jars of pickles, shampoos, and biscuits. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific item because we have so much stuffed into a small room. We know most of the families who live on this street. Their children come here to buy small toys or pens for school. The mornings are the busiest when everyone is getting ready for work and school. We have to be quick with the change and the packing. Parsigutta can get very crowded, so we don't have much parking space outside. People usually just walk over. We use a small ceiling fan to keep the air moving, but it’s still warm. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just sell what is needed at a fair price. Sometimes we sit on the steps when it’s quiet and watch the world go by. It’s a simple business and we are happy to be a part of this little community in L Narayan Nagar for all these years.
