Sri Sai Chaitanya Jr College

We operate out of Flat-504 in B-Block at the Modi Apartments. It’s in Qutbulapur, which is a part of Hyderabad that’s always moving and growing. Being in an apartment complex means we see the same neighbors every day while we are working. The Sri Sai Chaitanya Jr College is what we have here. It’s not a massive campus with fields or huge gyms, but we use every bit of the space we have. There are desks crammed into the different rooms and whiteboards hung up on the walls. Students come up the elevator or take the stairs when it’s too busy to wait. We try to keep it quiet so we don’t bother the families living in the other flats next to us. Sometimes you can smell what the neighbor in 503 is cooking for lunch while we’re in the middle of a session. Hyderabad gets really hot in the summer months, so we keep the fans going at full speed all the time. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and stacks of books. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is here at once, especially in the hallways, but we make it work somehow. The security guard at the main gate knows most of us by name now. It’s a local setup, nothing fancy or polished, just a place where things happen in the middle of a residential block. We have our little routines, like checking the mail downstairs or grabbing a quick snack from the small shop around the corner.
