Sri Sai Balaji Kirana And General Store

We've been running Sri Sai Balaji Kirana And General Store here in Moosapet for some time now. Our shop is at 8-4-368/216/39 in Hamavathi Nagar. It’s a small place, but we try to keep most things people need for their kitchens. People come in for milk early in the morning, and sometimes they just want a packet of biscuits or some rice. We aren't doing anything fancy. Most days, I am behind the counter myself, making sure things are stocked up. The shelves get a bit dusty because of the road, but we clean them when we find a minute. Hyderabad gets quite hot, so the cool drinks go fast in the summer. We know many of the neighbors by name. It’s just a regular local shop where you can grab your salt or sugar without driving all the way to a big supermarket. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck doesn't show up, but usually, it’s fine. We handle the billing ourselves, so sometimes there is a small wait if it's busy. I try to keep enough change in the drawer, though UPI has made things a bit easier lately. It’s just us doing our work here every day. We open early and close when the street gets quiet. If you live around Hamavathi Nagar, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We just keep going, day after day, helping the families nearby get their daily groceries.
