Sri Sadgru Kirana General Store

Our shop, Sri Sadgru Kirana General Store, is tucked away in Daya Market in Musheerabad. We are at H. No. 1-6-648, which is pretty close to the Bundle Function Hall. If there is a wedding or an event there, it gets really busy around here with all the extra people walking around. Mostly though, it is just our neighbors from the Hyderabad area. We keep all the usual stuff people need for their kitchens and houses. Dealing with suppliers can be a headache sometimes, especially when the trucks can't find the market entrance. The shop has been here for a long time, and the walls show it. We don't bother with fancy decorations. We just make sure the rice bags are dry and the tea is in stock. My brother and I take turns behind the counter. Sometimes we have a little tea ourselves when the shop is quiet in the late afternoon. It's a typical market store. You can hear the sounds of the street and the people bargaining next door. We know most of our customers by their names or at least by what they usually buy every Tuesday. It’s a steady kind of work and it keeps us occupied from morning till night. We just try to keep everything organized enough so we can find things when someone asks. It is hard work but it is our life.
