Sri Prasanna Anjaneya General Store

We are located at number 3, Ready Nagar in the Gowlidoddi area. It’s a small general store. Gowlidoddi has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings going up, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We sell the basic things that people need daily, like milk, bread, and pens. The shop is quite small, so I have to be careful how I arrange the shelves so people can move around. I keep a small radio on for some news or music during the day. It’s just me and sometimes a family member helping out. We are right there at Ready Nagar. The street outside is usually full of bikes and people walking to the nearby offices. We open early in the morning because that’s when people want their milk packets. It’s a simple life. I spend a lot of time sitting on a plastic chair near the entrance when it’s not busy. We don't have a big sign, just the name painted above the door. The walls are a bit faded from the sun. We don't carry any fancy brands, just the regular stuff that sells well. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a few minutes. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We stay open until the street lights come on and everyone has gone home for dinner. It’s just a small shop doing its part in the community.
