Sri Maruthi Tent House & Catterers

We are located in Auto Nagar, specifically in Survodaya Colony. If you look behind Kamineni Hospital, you will find our place at 7-143/105. We do two things here: we provide tents and we also do catering for various events. It is a labor-intensive business. We have big warehouses where we store all the iron poles, colorful cloths, and chairs. On the catering side, we have large stoves and huge vessels for cooking rice and curries. Most of our work happens on weekends or during the wedding season. That is when we are loading trucks early in the morning and setting up at different venues around L. B. Nagar. It is dusty and heavy work, and our clothes often get dirty. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us checking the laundry for the tablecloths or cleaning the cooking pots. We have a regular crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know how to put up a tent quickly even when it is windy. We don't talk much about "service" or "quality"; we just make sure the tent doesn't fall and the food is hot and tastes like it should. It’s a local business run by local people. We have been in this colony for a long time and everyone around here knows where to find us. It’s just how things work in the events trade.
