Sri Durga Tent House

Sri Durga Tent House is located at 13-3-476/17/A in Jiyaguda, specifically in the Shiv Bagh Colony. Our place is basically a big storage area filled with poles, rolled-up carpets, and stacks of plastic chairs. We deal with all the stuff you need when there is a wedding or a big gathering in the neighborhood. It is a lot of heavy work, loading everything onto the back of a small truck and then driving it across Jiyaguda to set it all up. The fabrics we have come in all sorts of colors, though some of them have faded a bit from being out in the sun so much. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and our evenings taking things down after an event is over. It is a tiring business because the poles are heavy and the weather doesn't always cooperate. When it rains, we have a lot of wet cloth to dry out, which is a real pain. We don't have a big office with air conditioning; we are mostly out in the yard or at a site working. People come to us when they are planning something and we just figure out how many chairs and how much tenting they are going to need. It is a practical business and we have been doing it this way for a long time. We just try to get the tents up straight and on time.
