Sri Mallikarjuna Kirana & General Stores

Sri Mallikarjuna Kirana & General Stores is just a small place here in Zamisthanpur Musheerabad. We open early in the morning when the sun is just coming up over H.No 1-7-1022/9/17/6. It is mostly just me and sometimes a family member helping out. People from around the neighborhood stop by for their daily things like soap or cooking oil. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because there are so many bags and boxes piled up, but we know where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific brand of tea, we can usually find it in a few seconds. Musheerabad is a busy area and there is always noise from the street outside. We have been at this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the shelves are sturdy enough to hold all the dal and rice bags. It is a simple life running a shop like this. We see the same faces every day, neighbors we have known for years. Sometimes they just stay for a minute to talk about the weather or local news while they wait for their change. Hyderabad is hot during the summers, so we keep the fan running all day. It is just a regular store for regular people living in this part of the city. We keep the ledger books on the small desk near the front counter to track everything. It's not much, but it's ours.
