Sri Magi Fabrication Works

Our workshop is out in Prashanth Nagar, right in the IDA area where things are always loud and busy. If you come by Sy No 167, you will hear the sound of metal being cut and the buzz of the welding machines before you even see the sign. We do a lot of ironwork here. Most days are spent making window grills, gate frames, or steel structures for small sheds. It’s dirty work, and our clothes are usually covered in black soot and metal shavings. The floor of the shop is concrete and always has scraps of steel lying around. We have to be careful where we step. It gets really hot in the summer, especially when the welding torches are going all day long. We don't have any air conditioning, just the big open doors to let the breeze in. We work with a lot of local builders and homeowners who need something sturdy made for their houses. It’s not fancy art, just solid fabrication that holds up over time. We use heavy hammers and grinders that make a lot of sparks. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites to measure things or finish an installation. It’s a tough way to make a living, but there is something good about seeing a pile of raw iron turn into a finished gate by the end of the week. We just keep our heads down and keep working through the noise.
