Sri Laxminarsimah General Store

I've been running Sri Laxminarsimah General Store for a long time now. We are tucked away on Gunfoundary Road in the Abids area of Hyderabad, specifically at Shop No 5-10-899. If you know where the Lepakshi building is, we're right there behind it. It’s a very busy part of the city. The shop isn't fancy or like those big supermarkets you see in malls. It’s just a regular place where people from around here come to pick up what they need for their homes. I try to keep the shelves stocked with the usual things like lentils, oils, soaps, and biscuits. Sometimes the delivery guys are late and things get a bit messy in the back, but that's just how it goes when you run a small business by yourself. People in Abids know me, and I know most of them by their names. We open up early because that's when folks do their shopping before heading to work. The traffic on Gunfoundary Road can be a real mess in the afternoons, but we stay open until late anyway. It’s a small space, so you might have to squeeze past a few crates to find things. I don't have a big team, just a couple of us helping out. We don't do fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just about getting the daily stuff sorted for everyone. If you’re walking around the backside of Lepakshi, you’ll see us. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy.
