Sri Laxmi Wines

This shop has been here in Bapu Nagar for a good bit of time. It's just a regular place in S R Nagar where people come to pick up what they need for the evening. We open early enough and stay till the usual closing hours. The shelves are mostly full of the stuff people ask for the most, nothing too crazy or hard to find. It gets busy in the evenings, especially on weekends when everyone is off work. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to stand in line for too long. The space isn't huge, so it can feel a bit crowded when four or five people come in at once. We know a lot of the faces that walk through the door since they live right around the corner. It's mostly just handing over bottles and making change. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to stack crates in the corner, which makes the floor space even smaller for a few hours. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a wine shop at 7-1-632/5/1 where you can get your drink and go home. We keep the fridge cold and the lights on. It’s a straightforward job and we just keep at it day after day. Most of the time we're just wiping down the counters and waiting for the next person to stop by.
