Sri Laxmi Ganapathi Cottage Industry

We are located over on Sahara Road in the Vijayasree Colony area. It is pretty easy to find the building since we are right opposite Sushma Theatre and right beside the Me Reddy Function Hall. Being near a function hall means there is always something going on nearby, with plenty of noise and people coming and going for events. Sri Laxmi Ganapathi Cottage Industry is a small operation. We do things the old-fashioned way mostly. It is a bit of a family vibe here among the staff. We have various tools and small machines set up in the space to handle the production of whatever we are making that week. The place usually smells of the raw materials we use for our items. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of workers. It is just a few of us making sure everything gets finished properly before the day ends. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late or the rain makes it hard to move stuff out to the trucks, but we manage. We’ve been in Vanasthalipuram for a good bit of time now. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners on this road. Most of our day is spent handling orders and making sure the quality is okay before things get packed up in boxes. It is nothing fancy, just a plain workplace with concrete floors and high ceilings. We try to stay organized but when we get busy, things get a little messy on the tables.
