Sri Gayatri Residential College For Boys

Living and working in a residential college here in Hyderabad is quite an experience. Since Sri Gayatri Residential College For Boys is just for boys, the energy level is always through the roof. We spend most of our time making sure the daily schedule stays on track, from the early wake-up calls to the lights-out time at night. The building is usually full of life, with students heading to the dining hall or sitting in groups in the common areas. It’s a big responsibility having them stay here, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. Some of us stay on-site too, so the line between work and home gets a bit blurry sometimes. We see the same faces every single day, and you get to know everyone's habits, like who is always late for breakfast or who stays up late reading. Hyderabad is a busy city, but inside our walls, we try to keep things focused on the books. The food is standard hostel fare, nothing fancy, but it keeps everyone going. We deal with the usual stuff like leaky taps, lost socks, and the occasional homesick kid. It’s just a plain, hardworking environment where the main goal is getting through the classes and exams. There aren't any flashy banners or big slogans on the walls, just the sound of pens scratching on paper and the occasional shout from the cricket ground nearby.
