Sri Gayatri Hospital

Down in Srinivaspauram, specifically in the Ramantha Pur area, you’ll find Sri Gayatri Hospital. We are located near Gupta Garden, which is a nice little landmark for people trying to find us. Ramanthapurn is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else’s business. Our hospital is a part of that landscape now. It’s a plain building, nothing that stands out too much from the houses around it. Inside, the floors are always being mopped because of all the feet coming in and out. We see families from the nearby colonies mostly. There is a lot of walking back and forth between the pharmacy and the consultation rooms. It’s a practical place. We don't have fancy art on the walls or anything like that. We just have the usual medical posters and a clock that’s always five minutes fast. The evening shift is usually the busiest when people get off work and bring their kids in. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood through the back windows—kids playing and scooters zooming by. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, but with so many people, it gets loud. The benches in the waiting area have seen better days, but they hold up. We just keep doing what we do every day, helping the people who live nearby with whatever is bothering them. It is a simple life for us here at the hospital.
