Sri Ganesh Kirana & General Stores

Sri Ganesh Kirana & General Stores has been sitting on Street No 8 in Habsiguda for some time. Our address is Plot No 1-4-53/1B, which is easy enough to find if you're familiar with this part of Hyderabad. It’s a standard kirana shop. We stock the usual things like grains, soaps, and snacks that families around here need every day. The shop isn't huge, but we make use of the space we have. Working in Habsiguda means we see a lot of the same people every day, which is nice. Dealing with suppliers and keeping track of what’s running out takes up most of the morning. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People just know we are here on the street. Sometimes the stock arrives late, and things get a bit messy for an hour or two while we get everything put away. It's just part of the job. We just do our work and don't make a big deal out of it. If we don’t have something, we just say so. Most people who live nearby stop in for quick bits they forgot to buy elsewhere. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there is always someone coming through the door for a recharge or a packet of biscuits. We open early because that's when the neighborhood starts moving. It's just a regular local store trying to keep things running for everyone.
