You’ll find us out on Bollarum Road in the Bachupally area of Kukatpally. This is a residential college for girls, so the place is basically a second home for everyone who stays here. The building is quite large because it has to fit both the classrooms and the places where the girls sleep. It’s not like a hotel; it’s more of a functional space with long hallways and rows of bunk beds. We have a strict schedule that we follow every day, starting quite early in the morning and going late into the evening. The kitchen is always busy preparing meals, and you can usually smell whatever is cooking if you're standing near the dining hall. Bachupally is a fast-growing area, so there’s always construction and new buildings going up around us on Bollarum Road. It makes for a bit of dust and noise, but we just stay focused on what’s happening inside our walls. We don’t have a lot of frills here. It’s about the books and the study hours and making sure everyone follows the rules. The staff lives on-site too, so we are all in it together. It’s a busy, sometimes tiring life, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in Kukatpally for years now, and we’re just another part of the landscape in this part of town. This is the daily reality at Sri Chaitanya.
