Sri Balaji Mill Stores

Sri Balaji Mill Stores is located at Shop No.166 on Rashtrapati Road. The street is always busy with people and vehicles so there is never a quiet moment. We have a small storefront but the shop goes back quite a long way inside. We sell all kinds of mill stores and industrial supplies that people in the trade need. Our shelves are packed with boxes of all sizes and sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in on us. I have been running this place for a long time and I know exactly where every single item is stored. We don't have a computer system to tell us our inventory levels. We just look at the shelves and we know what we need to order. It is a very traditional way of doing business but it works for us. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for decades. They usually stop by for a few minutes to talk about the weather or the local news while we pack their orders. The shop gets quite dusty because we are right on the main road but we don't mind it much. We just do a bit of cleaning every morning before we open up the shutters. We don't have any dreams of becoming a big chain of stores. We are happy with our single shop and our regular routine. It’s a steady life and it provides for our families.
