Soni Kirana & General Store

Soni Kirana & General Store is located on Parsigutta Road in Hyderabad. We are right opposite the Sai Baba Temple, which is a very busy spot, especially on Thursdays when a lot of devotees come by. Our shop has been around for a while, and it is a typical local store where you can find almost any small household item. We stock everything from pulses and rice to shampoos and batteries. The temple bells and the traffic noise are part of our daily life here. It is often just one or two of us working, trying to keep up with the people who stop their scooters outside to grab a quick item. The shop can get quite warm in the Hyderabad sun, so we stay near the fan whenever we can. We don't have a lot of space, so the bags of grain are often stacked up against the walls. We don't really bother with fancy decorations or big sales. It is more about having what the neighbors need when they need it. Sometimes we run out of change, and we have to ask the customer to wait while we run to the next shop to break a big note. It is just a normal, everyday business. We are happy just being part of the Parsigutta community and doing our part to keep everyone's pantry full.
