Solar Lights

Solar Lights is located in Attapur. It is a simple shop where we sell different kinds of lights that run on the sun. We started this because we saw how many people were worried about their electricity bills and the power cuts that happen sometimes. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep a good variety of lamps and panels on the floor so people can see what they are buying. Most of our day is spent explaining how the batteries work or helping someone figure out where to put a light in their yard. Attapur is a busy place, and there’s always a lot of traffic passing by our door. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of staff in uniforms. It’s usually just a couple of us here, moving boxes and testing the bulbs to make sure they actually turn on. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken light they bought years ago, and we see if we can fix it. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to do anything huge, just selling things that people in the neighborhood can actually use. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, which is fitting, I suppose. We keep the doors open to let the air in, even when it’s dusty outside. It's a straightforward business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is.
