Soap Cycling India Foundation

The Soap Cycling India Foundation operates out of Sai Durga Gardens in Bhavani Nagar. We are in Flat 418. It’s a residential area, so it’s mostly quiet except for the usual neighborhood sounds like kids playing or someone selling vegetables from a cart in the street. The place often smells a bit like different soaps because of what we do. We have boxes stacked up in the corners and out on the balcony. It’s not the most organized looking office you’ve ever seen, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time sorting through things and talking to people on the phone. Sai Durga Gardens is a nice enough place, though finding the right block can be tricky for people visiting for the first time. The official address is H.No: 1-73/1. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make coffee and sometimes eat lunch together at a crowded desk. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just some posters and the stuff we need for work. It feels very practical. We don't have a big sign outside, just the name on the door. Most days it’s just a couple of us working through the emails and checking the stock. It's a bit cramped when we get a big delivery, but we manage somehow. Being in Hyderabad, the heat gets into the flat by mid-afternoon, so we keep the fans going constantly. It’s a grounded place.
