Smart Modular Solutions is tucked away in Raghavender Nagar, specifically in the F-Block of Shanthi Gardens. Our office is in Flat No. 214. Since we’re in a residential complex in Nacharam, it’s a lot quieter than a factory or a shop on the main road. We spend a lot of our time sitting around the table looking at drawings and plans. It’s where we figure out how to make kitchens and cupboards fit into people's homes. We have a few samples of materials and handles scattered around the room. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway outside while we’re working. It’s a relaxed environment. We don’t wear suits or anything like that; usually just jeans and a shirt. We do a lot of our thinking here before we go out to the actual sites to measure things up. The flat is a bit small, but it works for what we need. We use the kitchen in the flat to make coffee for anyone who drops by. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate space. Nacharam is a good area because it’s close to the city but still has some quiet spots like ours. We work long hours sometimes when a project is due, but we usually try to keep it balanced. It’s just us trying to make things work for our clients without making a big deal out of it. We like the quiet here as it helps us focus.
