Skanda Industries

We've been here at 44-8-75 in Chanda Nagar for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Gangaram, and most days start pretty early before the sun gets too high. Skanda Industries is just a place where we get the work done. There’s always a lot of stuff piled up in the corners, parts waiting to be sorted or moved out. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the machines running, but that’s just how it is. People come by asking if we can handle this or that, and we just tell them what’s possible. It’s not a fancy office or anything. We’ve got some old desks and the floor is usually a bit dusty. My cousin helped out for a bit, then he moved on, so now it’s just us few regulars. We deal with the usual stuff like power outages or the delivery truck being late because of the traffic on the main road. Chanda Nagar has changed quite a bit since we opened, more buildings going up every month. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s steady work. Sometimes the tea guy forgets our order, and we have to go find him. It’s a normal business, nothing too complicated. We just try to finish what we started so we can go home on time. It’s been our way for years, just being part of the local scene here.
