Sign-Trade

Our place, Sign-Trade, is situated at Pl.No.3-5-78/11/D in the Mehboob Crest building. We are on King Koti Road, tucked right behind the Old Mla Quarters. It’s an interesting spot because the area has a lot of history, but our day-to-day is pretty modern and basic. We deal with all the bits and pieces that go into making displays and trade signs. The space is mostly storage and a small area for us to sit and handle the paperwork. You’ll see rolls of materials and boxes stacked up against the walls almost to the ceiling. It can get a bit dusty if we haven't moved certain stock in a few days. We don't really do the whole marketing pitch thing; we just talk to the people who come in needing supplies for their own shops. The building itself is okay, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so we often just take the stairs to stay on the safe side. Being behind the quarters makes it a little quieter than if we were right on the main strip, which is nice when we’re trying to count inventory. We’ve got a small kettle for making coffee in the corner, and that’s about as luxury as it gets around here. It’s just us, the stock, and the phone ringing every now and then with questions. We like the location because it’s easy enough for people to find once they know the landmark.
