You’ll find Viswanath Mill Stores at 85-7-14 on Gandhi Road in Ramgopalpet. It’s a busy neighborhood and our shop is packed to the rafters with all kinds of hardware and industrial supplies. We’ve been in this location for years, and it’s gotten to the point where we know exactly where every small screw and bolt is kept, even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in from the street. We mostly serve the local mills and workshops around here. People come in looking for specific parts that they can’t find anywhere else. It’s a lot of climbing ladders and searching through old bins. The air in the shop always smells a bit like metal and oil. We don’t have a fancy computerized inventory system. We mostly just remember what we have or check the shelves manually. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Gandhi Road is always humming with activity, so there's never a dull moment. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people know us by word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here since they were young. We’re not a big chain store. It’s just us, serving the local community one piece of hardware at a time. Some days are slow, while others are a constant stream of customers. We just take it as it comes and try to be helpful to whoever walks in.
