You can find us at Shop No 5 on the Main Road in Balkampet. It’s a small spot but we make it work. Most days are spent unpacking new boxes or helping someone find a dress that fits just right. Being on the main road means there’s always noise from the scooters and buses passing by. It’s just how it is in Hyderabad. We have been here for some time now and most of our regulars live nearby in the neighborhood. We don’t have those big flashy signs or anything like that. We just focus on having enough clothes for people to look through. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but we make do. The floors need a sweep every few hours because of the dust from the road. It’s a simple life running a fashion shop here. We mostly have things that younger people like to wear for college or just going out. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. If you are walking down the Balkampet road, you’ll see us. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down and then some. It’s a lot of folding clothes over and over again. People usually know what they want before they even walk in. We just help them find the right color or size from the stacks.
