You can find us at Shop No. 1-66, which is really close to the HDFC Bank in the Miyapur area of Hyderabad. Being in Miyapur means we deal with a lot of traffic every single day. Our little shop is where we sit and talk to people who want to learn how to drive at Shridi Sai Motor Driving School. It is a small place, nothing too fancy, just some chairs and a desk for the paperwork. Most of the work happens outside in the car. Hyderabad roads can be quite chaotic, especially near the bank and the main junctions, so we have to be very careful with our students. We start them off in quieter lanes if we can find them, then we move into the heavier traffic once they get a bit of confidence. I have spent many hours teaching people how to shift from first to second gear without stalling the engine. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it is necessary. We see all kinds of people, from young students to busy professionals who finally need a car for work. Sometimes the weather is so hot that we just want to stay in the shade, but the lessons have to go on. We help with the license process too, which involves a lot of waiting at the transport office. We just do our best to make sure people can drive safely on these busy streets.
