Shri Shivaji Science College

Our place is over in Krishna Nagar, right across from where the ICICI Bank is. It's number 205, and since it’s the New Mens Hostel building, there’s always a lot of noise and young guys moving around. We spend most of our time in the science labs or the classrooms where the fans are usually rattling. It’s a college, but it feels more like a big house sometimes because of the hostel setup. The students here are usually busy with their books or complaining about the heat in Hyderabad. We have been here for a good amount of time, and the walls have seen a lot of different batches come and go. It’s not some shiny new campus with glass walls; it’s a practical space where we focus on the science subjects. You’ll see students hanging out near the bank or walking back to the hostel after a long day of lectures. The furniture is old wood and the floors are a bit worn down, but it works for what we do. We don't really do the big fancy speeches here. It is just about getting through the syllabus and making sure the guys understand the chemistry and physics. People know us in this part of the city. If you walk past the bank and see a bunch of tired-looking students, you’ve probably found us. We just keep things running day by day. It is a simple place for simple learning.
