Our shop is located in the Langer House area, and we’ve been helping people see a bit better for a while now. It’s a small place, but we have enough frames and lenses to give people some choices. We don’t have those fancy automatic doors or expensive lighting you see in the malls. It’s just a regular local shop where you can get your eyes checked and pick out some glasses that fit your face. Often, neighbors stop by just to chat or get their frames tightened because they’ve gone a bit loose. We don’t mind that at all. We know most of the families around here. It’s a bit of a slow process sometimes, picking the right lens or waiting for the lab to finish a specific prescription, but we try to be honest about the timing. We don't make big promises we can't keep. If a pair of glasses isn't going to be ready until Thursday, we say it’ll be ready on Thursday. Most of our day is spent cleaning glass and adjusting tiny screws. It’s quiet work for the most part. We like it here in Langer House because it feels like a real community. People trust us with their vision, and we take that seriously, even if we are just a small local business. We keep things simple and try to make sure everyone leaves seeing better than when they walked in through our front door.
