Shivapriya Gitty Crushers is based out of Kailash Nagar, specifically at 124 A. We spend our days dealing with stones and crushers. It is a noisy business, that’s for sure. If you’ve ever been near a crusher, you know the sound doesn't really leave your ears even after you go home. We supply gitty for all sorts of construction projects nearby. B.K. Sharma is the name on the door. We aren’t a huge corporation with fancy offices. We’re just a local outfit making sure there’s enough crushed stone for the roads and buildings being put together. The dust gets everywhere, no matter how much you try to clean it up. Our workers are used to it by now. We’ve been at this for a while and seen the area change around us. It’s a straightforward kind of work. You take big rocks and make them into smaller ones. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the day fixing them under the sun. It’s frustrating but it's part of the life here. People come to us because we’re close by and we don't make a fuss about the small details. We just get the orders filled. It’s practical, hard work and we don’t try to pretend it’s anything else. We just keep the crushers running as much as we can throughout the week. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but we get the stones out to the builders on time.
