Shivani Junior & Degree College For Womens is located in a very busy part of Hyderabad. We are right at D No11-13-139/1-B, right beside the South India Shopping Mall in Kothapet. The pincode is 500035. Being next to a big mall means there is always something going on outside. Traffic is a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, but the students manage to get here on time. It’s a college for women, and we have both junior and degree students here. The building isn't huge, so it feels a bit crowded sometimes when everyone is between classes. We don't have a corporate vibe at all. It’s more like a big family where everyone knows everyone else. The staff room is always full of tea cups and stacks of papers that need grading. We teach all sorts of subjects. Kothapet is a central area, so it’s easy for the girls to get here by bus or auto. We don’t put on airs or try to sound like a big university. We are just a local college trying to do right by our students. The walls are covered in old notices and some student art. It’s a bit messy but it’s functional for what we need. We stay busy from morning till evening. It’s just a plain, honest place to study and work in this part of Telangana.
