Serligao

Our shop, Serligao, is up on the second floor of the HVR Complex at Shop No. 23. We are right near the Kukatpally bus stop, which is probably one of the busiest spots you could find. The BJP office is also right there, so there is always a lot of activity and people moving around outside. Being on the second floor means we have to deal with the stairs every day, but it gives us a bit of a view of the street below. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. Most of our day is spent helping customers who have climbed up to find us. It can get quite warm in the complex, especially when the afternoon sun hits the building, so we keep the fans going constantly. We aren’t a huge corporation; we are just a local business trying to provide what people need in this part of town. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with the noise from the bus stop and the traffic, but you get used to the rhythm of it after a while. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. We take our work seriously, but we don't feel the need to use a lot of big words to explain it. It’s just a regular shop where we do our best to stay organized and keep the customers moving through.
