We’ve got our setup here where we keep an eye on the beds and make sure everything is growing like it should. It’s a lot of humid air and dark spaces, which is just what the mushrooms like. Malkajgiri is a busy place, and we fit right into the middle of it. We are just a small crew. We don't have a fancy board of directors or anything like that. It’s mostly just us doing the watering, the harvesting, and the packing. Sometimes the crop doesn't turn out quite right, and we have to figure out why and fix it for the next time. We don’t use those big words like mission statements. We just try to get the mushrooms to the market before they lose their freshness. The office is just a desk in the corner of the packing room. It gets a bit chaotic when it's time to load the crates, but we manage. We’ve been here for a few years now, just slowly doing our thing. It’s a decent living and it keeps us busy from early morning until the evening. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the quality steady. It's just honest work for us at the end of the day.
