Satyam College Of Distance Education

Our office is situated on Abid Road in the Ramkoti area of Hyderabad. It is a very busy part of the city with lots of shops and traffic all day long. Being a distance education college, we don't have students coming in for daily classes like a regular school. Instead, people come here to drop off their assignment papers, collect their study materials, or ask about exam dates. We have a small staff sitting in the office dealing with a lot of paperwork. There are rows of shelves filled with books and files for the different courses we offer. Most of our students are working adults who are trying to get a degree while they hold down a job, so they usually visit us during their lunch breaks or after work. The 500001 pin code area is easy to reach by bus, so we get people from all over Telangana. The office is a bit cramped because of all the boxes of books, but we manage. It is a very practical setup. We spend a lot of time on the phone answering questions about enrollment and results. There is no campus life here, just the business of getting people enrolled in their courses. We use a lot of stamps and registers to keep track of everyone. It is just a straightforward place for people who need to study on their own time while living in a big city. We close up around 6 PM.
