Sateesh Kirana Store

You can find us at 2-1 in Yadavs Colony, which is part of Bommanapalli Village. It is a small shop, mostly serving the families who live right here in the colony. We don't get many strangers passing through because the village is tucked away. Most days start early before the sun is fully up, getting things ready for when people stop by on their way to the fields or work. We carry the usual things like soap, matches, tea powder, and snacks for the kids. The children usually come in after school with a few coins, looking for something sweet. It gets a bit lively then. The shop is small, so we have to stack things all the way to the ceiling to make everything fit. Sometimes I have to use a stool to reach the top shelf for a bottle of hair oil or a packet of biscuits. Being in Bommanapalli means we know everything that is going on in the neighborhood. We hear about the weddings, the weather, and how the crops are doing. Sateesh Kirana Store is more than just selling things; it is about being part of the village. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the door, so we put a bucket there and keep going. It is a quiet life, but we are always here if someone runs out of sugar or salt in the middle of cooking.
