We run Saptagiri Par Boiled Rice Mills Llp right here in Nagole. You can find us at Plot 27 on GSI Road in Krushi Nagar Colony. It is a noisy place because the milling machines are always running during the day. We spend most of our time dealing with parboiled rice, which is a lot of hard work. The building at H.No 12 1 238 is where we handle all the paperwork, but you’ll mostly find us out on the floor. It gets very hot near the boilers and there is always a bit of dust in the air from the grain. We are just a local operation doing our best to keep things moving. We aren't a fancy corporation with polished offices. Our floors are concrete and we usually have rice hulls on our boots. We start early in the morning, often before the sun is even up, to beat the heat. Some days the trucks are lined up outside and it gets pretty hectic, while other days are a bit quieter. We take the rice as it comes and process it so it’s ready for the market. It is a simple, honest business. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Hyderabad for years and we like being part of the community here. If you pass by, you can smell the toasted grain and hear the hum of the motors. It’s just what we do every single day.
