Sangam Motor Driving School

You can find us at Shop No 2 on Seven Tombs Road. We are right opposite Shahi Garden, which is a big landmark around here in Toli Chowki. Being in Hyderabad, we deal with a lot of noise and a lot of people every day. Sangam Motor Driving School is a small operation. The shop isn't very large, just enough room for a couple of chairs and a desk where we handle the registration. Most of our time isn't spent in the shop anyway. We are usually out in the cars. We've got a routine down. A student comes in, we check the mirrors, and we head out into the 500008 traffic. It’s a lot of stop-and-go. We teach people how to use the clutch without burning it out, which is a constant battle. The instructors here aren't the type to talk your ear off. They just give short directions and let you figure out the feel of the car. We’ve had all sorts of people come through Shop No 2. Young kids, older folks who never got around to learning, and people who just moved to the city. We keep things pretty informal. There’s no dress code or corporate vibe. We’re just local people helping other locals get on the road. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. If the shop door is locked, we’re probably just out on a lesson. We try to be around as much as possible for anyone who stops by.
