Samrt Hire (Times Group)

We are based in Kolkata. It’s a city that never really stops, and neither do we. Our office is a typical Kolkata setup—a bit old, high ceilings, and plenty of character. We work on hiring for the Samrt Hire (Times Group). It’s a lot of talking to people and trying to figure out who fits where. The office is usually a bit of a mess with resumes and notes scribbled on pads. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the basics that get the job done. We spend most of our time on the phone or meeting people for quick chats. The street noise from outside is constant, but you get used to it after a week. We have a small tea break every afternoon, which is pretty much mandatory for us. It’s a small team here. We’ve all known each other for years. We don't really do the whole corporate ladder thing. We just come in, do our work, and head home. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get to the office, but we manage. It’s a practical environment. We don't use big words or have long meetings about nothing. We just look at who needs a job and who is looking for a worker. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy through the week. The fans hum all day long to keep the humidity away. Kolkata is a city that feels alive, and our office is just a small part of that. We like the local food stalls nearby.
