Sajeet Kumar

Being near the Hyderabad GPO means there is never a dull moment. Sajeet Kumar is the name on the door, but it’s really just a place where I get my daily work done. The area is always crowded with people heading to the post office or catching buses, so there’s a lot of energy right outside. I’ve been working out of this spot in 500001 for a good while now. The office itself is nothing to write home about. It has my desk, a few extra chairs, and stacks of papers that I promise myself I’ll organize every Monday. I don't believe in having a polished, corporate image because that’s just not who I am. I’m a local guy doing my job. Most of my clients are people who live nearby or work in the surrounding shops. We talk about the weather or the traffic before we even get into business. It’s more relaxed that way. I don’t have a website with fancy graphics or a mission statement. I just show up in the morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. Sometimes things are hectic, and other times I have an hour to just sit and watch the street. It is a very normal, local way to earn a living. I like the independence of it. No one is telling me how to dress or what to say. It’s just me.
