Sainath Net Cafe

Sainath Net Cafe is located at 11-19 in the P&T Colony area of Saroornagar. We are right here in the RR District. The cafe has about ten computers lined up against the walls. They aren't the newest models, but they work fine for browsing or printing out documents. We have some plastic chairs that have been here since we opened. It’s a bit of a hangout spot for the students from the colony. They come in to do their homework or check their results. We also have a printer that jams occasionally, but we know the trick to get it moving again. The walls are covered with some old posters and a clock that’s five minutes fast. We don't have a big staff, just me and my brother taking turns at the counter. We sell some snacks and cold drinks from a small fridge in the corner. The AC works when it wants to, so some days it gets a bit warm inside. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s a simple business. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. Sometimes it gets really loud when the kids are playing games, but we don't mind too much. It’s better than it being empty. We keep a ledger to track the time people spend on the machines. It’s an old-school way of doing things but it works for us. We just stay open until the last customer leaves in the evening. It's a living.
