Sai Balaji Kirana & General Store

Sai Balaji Kirana & General Store is situated at Door No 11-3-402 in New Ashok Nagar. We are specifically on the Pochama Temple Lane in the Parsigutta area of Hyderabad. Being on a temple lane means it is a bit different from being on the main road. On festival days, it gets very crowded with people visiting the temple, and the atmosphere is quite loud and lively. The rest of the time, it is just a regular lane with people coming and going from their homes. Our shop is small and we keep most of the daily essentials right within reach of the counter. We have snacks hanging from the ceiling and big jars of sweets for the kids. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. The walls are a bit stained and the sign outside is slightly faded from the sun. Ashok Nagar is a decent place to be, and we know most of the neighbors by name. I spend my time weighing out items or restocking the shelves when they get empty. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps the shop running. We don't use any fancy technology here, just a basic scale and a notebook. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights, but that is just part of living in this part of Hyderabad. It is an honest living.
