Sai Baba Kirana Stores

Sai Baba Kirana Stores has been at 5-9-472 in the Gunfoundry-Abids area of Hyderabad for quite a while. Abids is an old part of the city, and this street has a lot of history. Our shop is just a small kirana store tucked away among the bigger buildings. We stock the usual things like spices, soap, and grains. The space is quite narrow, so we have to stack things high up on the shelves. Sometimes we need a ladder just to reach a jar at the top. It can get a bit dusty with all the bags of flour and sugar, but we clean up as much as we can. Being at 5-9-472 means we are right in the thick of the city's daily grind. There is always someone coming in for a small thing they forgot to buy elsewhere. We don't have any fancy computer systems for billing, we mostly just use a pen and paper or a small calculator. It's a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who shop here. The neighborhood knows us, and we know who prefers which brand of tea. It is just a humble business on a busy street, trying to keep the pantry shelves of our customers full. Some days the heat in Abids is really something else, but we have a small fan that helps. We keep the store open as long as people are still walking the streets.
