Sahonnati Foundation

We’re located in the Sanathnagar Industrial Estate, specifically at B1. It’s an active area in Hyderabad, 500018, so there’s always noise from the nearby workshops and trucks moving around. The Sahonnati Foundation has been in this spot for a bit now. It’s an industrial setting, so don't expect any plush carpets or fancy lobbies. Our office is basically a functional space carved out of a larger building. It’s got high ceilings and can get a bit loud when the neighbors are working hard. We spend most of our time here dealing with the logistics of what we do. There’s a lot of back-and-forth with different people, and our phones are usually ringing. We aren't a big corporation with layers of management. If you call, you’re likely to talk to the same person who answers the door. We keep our records in metal cabinets and have a couple of sturdy tables for meetings. The air is often thick with the smell of the estate, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get through them. It’s a practical place for practical work. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what we're about. We're just here in the middle of the industrial hub, doing our part every day and going home tired but satisfied.
