Safe Hands Foundation

Safe Hands Foundation is located in Kukatpally, right behind the VSK School. Our address is H No 5-3-405, Plot No 10. It’s a good spot because it’s tucked away from the main road, so it’s a bit quieter than you’d expect for this part of town. We’ve been here for a while now, and the office is basically where everything happens for us. It’s just a small building with a couple of rooms. We don’t have any fancy signs or big posters; we just have our desks and our work. A lot of our day is spent coordinating things and making sure our programs are running like they should. We aren't a big team, so we all have to jump in and help with whatever needs doing. Sometimes that means cleaning the office, and other times it means dealing with paperwork for hours. We started this foundation because we saw a need for it in our community. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just honest work. The school being so close means we hear the kids playing during recess, which is actually kind of nice. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of our tasks. It’s not always perfect, but we do our best with what we have.
