S.S. Hospital

If you are looking for us, we are in the Ratna Prabha Enclave. It is part of the Nmdc Colony in East Anandbagh. S.S. Hospital is tucked away in this neighborhood. Most of the people who come here are from around Ananda Bagh. It is a residential area, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We have several rooms and the hallways are a bit narrow, but we keep things clean. The staff here at S.S. Hospital mostly comes from the surrounding suburbs. We start the day by checking the logs and making sure the equipment is ready. Sometimes the elevator in the enclave is a bit slow, so we take the stairs. It’s good exercise anyway. We’ve seen the colony change a lot over the years. New houses have gone up, but we are still here in the same spot. The reception area has a few benches that have been there since the beginning. They are still sturdy. We don't do much in terms of decoration. It's a hospital, so we keep it practical. People come in, they get what they need, and they head back home to their families in East Anandbagh. We like being part of this community. It feels right. On rainy days, the water pools a bit near the entrance, so we have to put out mats. It is just a normal place run by normal people. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make coffee during the long shifts. It’s not fancy.
