Our place is over at 214 in Sanath Nagar, right in the Kailash Nagar area. It’s a bit of a noisy spot because of all the activity around us. We spend most of our hours dealing with food and drinks, mostly making sure the packaging is right and the bottles are filled properly. The machines make a lot of noise during the day, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We’ve got a small team here who have been around for a few years. We handle a lot of crates every morning, moving them from the back to the loading area. The floor is usually a bit wet because of the cleaning we do after every shift. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things and checking labels by hand. Kailash Nagar gets really crowded in the afternoons, so we try to get our main transport out early before the roads get blocked up. We have a small office upstairs where we sit down for tea and talk about what needs to be fixed. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day trying to find a spare part in the market. It’s just how things go here. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just come to the side gate if they need to talk to us about an order. It’s a plain building, but we keep it running every day.
