Our shop is over at 4-6-384 in Jaya Nagar Extn., and if you walk by, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. Dealing with metal means there is always some clanking or the sound of heavy things being moved around. It’s a bit dusty, which is expected when you’re handling these kinds of materials all day. We keep a variety of stock in the back, though sometimes it feels like we’re running out of space. The neighborhood in Jaya Nagar Extn. is mostly quiet, but our corner stays active. It’s just a few of us working here, making sure orders get sorted and the right pieces go out to the people who need them. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just the warehouse floor and a small desk where we keep the books. Sometimes the weather makes the metal cold to touch in the mornings, or the sun heats up the roof in the afternoon. We just deal with it. People from around here know where we are if they need something specific. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the work is physical, moving stuff and checking measurements. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up in the evening.
