Our shop is tucked away in Defense Colony over in Karmanghat. If you're looking for us, we’re right across from the Masjid at Shop Number 4 and 5. It’s a decent sized space where we keep all our samples and tools. We do a lot of decorating work for houses nearby. It’s mostly painting, putting up wallpaper, or fixing those false ceilings that people like these days. We aren't big-shot designers, just guys who know how to make a room look a bit better than it did before. A lot of our day is spent moving ladders around and making sure the paint doesn't spill on the floor. It’s messy work sometimes. We started this because we liked working with our hands. People in the colony know us by name, and we usually get work just by word of mouth. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the sign above the door. If someone needs their living room touched up or a new wardrobe finished, they just drop by the shop and talk to us. We try to be honest about how long things will take. Sometimes materials arrive late, and we have to tell the customers to wait a day or two. That’s just how it goes in this business. We’re just regular people working in the neighborhood, trying to keep things simple and get the work finished.
