I’ve been working out of Road No 12 in Banjara Hills for a good while now. This part of Hyderabad is always changing, and my office has seen a lot of that growth. As an architect and interior designer, my days are split between structural plans and choosing the right finishes for a room. It’s a mix of big-picture thinking and looking at tiny details. I don’t go for the high-pressure sales stuff you see elsewhere. I just sit down with people and we talk about what they need for their home or office. Banjara Hills is a nice place to work, but it’s the work itself that keeps me busy. Sometimes I’m at the office drawing, and other times I’m out on a dusty site making sure the walls are going up where they should. My team and I try to keep things honest. If a design doesn’t work, we say so. We’d rather get it right the first time than have to fix it later. The office isn't overly decorated; it’s a working space where ideas get put on paper. We handle everything from the initial floor plan to the final paint color. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it’s what we know how to do. There’s no corporate agenda here, just a simple focus on doing the job properly for the people who trust us with their buildings. I've been doing this for years and it still feels fresh.
