We operate out of 383, HIG in the BHEL R.C. Puram area. It’s a solid location for us, and we’ve been here at Rusni Distilleries for quite a stretch. The work we do involves a lot of technical steps, so the day usually starts early to get the equipment warmed up and ready. It’s not the kind of job where you sit around much. We are constantly checking gauges and moving containers from one spot to another. The facility is functional and focused on production. We don't have any flashy signs or big corporate offices. Most of the people working here are locals who know the R.C. Puram neighborhood well. It can get pretty loud when the machinery is at full speed, but that’s part of the trade. We deal with various aspects of distilling, and it takes a lot of patience to get the timing right. Sometimes things go wrong, like a valve leaking or a shipment being late, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't interested in making big claims about ourselves. We just put in the hours and make sure the output is consistent. It’s a dirty, heavy-lifting kind of job sometimes, but we take pride in just getting it done properly without any unnecessary fuss. The floor is usually wet from cleaning, and the air has a sharp smell, which is just how a real distillery should be.
